Sand Castles and Knights

Since we are wrapping up our study of castles and knights, we decided to build sand castles in the kitchen!. With a little corn starch the sand (once cooked, yes cooked) stuck together better so the castles wouldn't fall apart. It had been raining for a few days so I thought this would be a fun activity for even the little boys. Unfortuneately we are still finding sand all over the kitchen. Next time I think we will build in the garage!
